Actor Yoo Ah-in will return with the new film 'Vampire' under his new agency. According to multiple media reports, Yoo Ah-in has confirmed his appearance in director Jang Jae-hyun's new film, 'Vampire'. 'Vampire' is director Jang Jae-hyun's latest work, following 'The Priests', 'Svaha: The Sixth Finger', and 'Exhuma', and is an occult action film with a vampire theme.

The film 'Vampire' tells the story of a hunter who catches vampires, a priest, and the characters intertwined with them. It is known to be a large-scale project with about five main Korean characters and significant roles for Russian characters. Yoo Ah-in will play the vampire hunter role, and actor Lee Sung-min will appear as the priest. Additionally, actor Yoon Kyung-ho is also joining, and some casting is underway, including a young actress called 'Princess' and a special appearance actor for a bodyguard role.

'Vampire' is scheduled to begin pre-production with the goal of cranking in this October. Casting, investment, and distribution are being decided sequentially.

Ahead of his appearance in 'Vampire', Yoo Ah-in is expected to move to his new agency, Galaxy Corporation. He will leave his previous agency UAA and move to Galaxy Corporation, which houses artists like G-Dragon, Taemin, and Kim Jong-kook, and is reportedly re-hiring a manager he previously worked with.

Yoo Ah-in has been on trial for charges including habitual propofol use from September 2020 to March 2022, illegal prescription of sleeping pills, and marijuana smoking and solicitation of smoking in the U.S. in January 2024. He was sentenced to one year in prison and detained in the first trial, but was released after his sentence was reduced to one year in prison with a two-year suspension of execution in the second trial. Since then, he has refrained from official entertainment activities.
