Galaxy Corporation has emerged as a hot topic in the entertainment industry since last year by recruiting famous stars like Taemin, Song Kang-ho, and Kim Jong-kook with massive signing bonuses. Recently, reports have continued that they are in contract discussions with Ryu Jun-yeol and Yoo Ah-in, who were previously with UAA. In particular, reports that Yoo Ah-in, who was in self-reflection for drug use, was offered over 5 billion won in cash and stock options have focused attention on Galaxy Corporation's aggressive expansion. Taemin is also reported to have received a signing bonus worth approximately 7 billion won, including stock options.

Industry analyses suggest that Galaxy Corporation is aggressively recruiting stars with the goal of 'listing' the company. With the contract expiration of G-Dragon, a key artist of Galaxy Corporation, approaching at the end of this year, the opinion is that this is a strategy to increase corporate value by gathering famous stars before listing, in preparation for potential non-renewal of his contract.

The entertainment industry is experiencing growing dissatisfaction with Galaxy Corporation's "star collecting" behavior. One industry insider pointed out, "This only inflates the stars' market value, shifting the burden of content production costs onto production companies," and questioned, "It is doubtful whether such a distorted system can function properly." Furthermore, they lamented, "Small and medium-sized management companies that have been working diligently are suffering due to Galaxy Corporation's abnormal expansion."
