MBC's daily drama 'The First Man' recorded its highest viewership ratings with an ending depicting Oh Hyun-kyung's downfall. The 138th episode garnered 6.3% nationwide according to Nielsen Korea, setting a new personal best. Notably, the scene where Chae Hwa-young, played by Oh Hyun-kyung, vents her anger at Ham Eun-jung, who arrived with detectives, soared to 6.9% in minute-by-minute ratings, marking the highest-rated minute.

In the drama, Kang Baek-ho (Yoon Sun-woo) received the hidden truth about Dream Hotel, along with bankbooks and shares kept for decades, from Chairman Ma (Lee Hyo-jung). Chairman Ma showed trust in Kang Baek-ho, asking him to rebuild Dream Hotel, which moved Kang Baek-ho. Meanwhile, Oh Jang-mi (Ham Eun-jung) and Jung Sook-hee (Jung So-young) confirmed the truth behind Ma Seo-rin's death through a voice recorder found in Chae Hwa-young's room. Kang Joon-ho (Park Geon-il) also realized he had been used in Chae Hwa-young's scheme.

With Kang Joon-ho's decisive action, the blood-stained wrench, crucial evidence in the Oh Bok-gil murder case, was revealed. The police then raided the abandoned factory where Chae Hwa-young and Lee Kang-hyuk were hiding. Lee Kang-hyuk escaped, but Chae Hwa-young was arrested at the scene.
