Kang Seung Yoon Returns to Acting After 4 Years

Winner member Kang Seung-yoon is resuming his acting activities after four years. He will appear in the new KBS 2TV weekend drama 'School 2025', scheduled to air in the first half of next year. This drama tells the story of a meddlesome mother who designs a second act in her life after belatedly entering university, and features Lee Jung-eun, Yoo Jun-sang, Choi Soo-young, and Jeon Sung-woo. Kang Seung-yoon will play the role of the son of Yoon Ok-hee, played by Lee Jung-eun, creating a mother-son dynamic.
Kang Seung-yoon began his acting career in the 2011 MBC sitcom 'High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged' and, after debuting with Winner, appeared in dramas such as 'Prison Playbook', 'Kairos', and 'Voice 4'. His most recent acting role was in the KBS 2TV 'Drama Special – The Season of Panties', which aired in 2022. With his appearance in 'School 2025', Kang Seung-yoon is returning to the small screen four years after his last KBS one-act drama, and expectations are high as this marks his first foray into a weekend drama. The drama 'School 2025' will air in the first half of next year, following 'Love is Coming'.
