Actress Kim Ji-young Exits Show Ahead of Birth

Kim Ji-young, who appeared on 'Heart Signal 4', has finished recording for SBS Power FM's 'Bae Sung-jae's TEN' ahead of giving birth. Kim Ji-young posted on her social media on the 30th, "On my way home after finishing the last 'Bae-ten' recording before giving birth," adding, "It's not like I'm leaving forever, but my heart is inexplicably complex with various emotions. It seems farewell is always bittersweet, no matter the duration." In the post, shared with a photo revealing her heavily pregnant belly, she conveyed her mixed feelings of regret and excitement about taking a break from broadcasting activities.

Kim Ji-young worked as a flight attendant for Korean Air for about seven years starting in 2016, and gained popularity by appearing on Channel A's dating reality show 'Heart Signal 4' in 2023. She first appeared as a guest on 'Bae Sung-jae's TEN' in February 2024, and joined as a regular panelist from March 19th of the same year, communicating with listeners for about three months. This recording was her last broadcast schedule before giving birth.

Kim Ji-young married Yoon Soo-young, the representative of a book club community, in February, and is expecting her first daughter in July. She announced her pregnancy at the same time as her marriage and will be pausing her broadcasting activities for the time being to focus on preparing for childbirth. Kim Ji-young is expected to meet her fans again after giving birth.
