Kim Boojang Ka-el Makes Acting Debut

Kael from the group LUN8 has successfully debuted on the small screen through the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Chief Detective 1958'. In the drama, which aired on the 26th and 27th, Kael met viewers by playing the role of 'Kim Nam-hoon', a promising player on the Songin High School volleyball team.

In the drama, Kim Nam-hoon showed a warm side by kindly interacting with Min-ji (Seo Soo-min), the daughter of Chief Detective Kim (So Ji-sub), and lending her his gym clothes. However, his kindness instead provoked jealousy in Joo Hye-ri (Yoo Jian), leading to an opportunity to lure Min-ji. Later, Kim Nam-hoon met Chief Detective Kim and stated that he had not called Min-ji, adding to the drama's tension.

Despite it being his first acting challenge, Kael demonstrated stable acting skills, delicately portraying the fresh emotions unique to a high school student and delivering a sense of excitement to viewers.
