Rookie actress Seo Su-min, who debuted as the daughter of So Ji-sub in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Chief Kim," is gaining attention. The drama has surpassed 15% viewership ratings in just two episodes, creating a box office sensation.

In the drama, Seo Su-min plays Kim Min-ji, a precious existence to her father, Chief Kim (played by So Ji-sub). Kim Min-ji is a character with a painful story: her birthday is the anniversary of her mother's death. After experiencing school violence and being kidnapped, she provides the impetus for Chief Kim, who was living an ordinary life, to return to his special agent days and save his daughter.

Despite it being her first role, Seo Su-min is receiving positive reviews for her natural portrayal of a rebellious teenage girl, her resentment towards her father, and her resilience against bullying.

Before her drama debut, Seo Su-min had already gained recognition as an influencer through social media and YouTube. A roughly 44-second daily life video she uploaded to her YouTube channel last year recorded approximately 3.16 million views, drawing attention for her innocent and fresh visuals.

Additionally, a video of her appearing on makeup artist Haemin쌤's YouTube channel, 'Haemin Teacher,' also garnered significant interest, recording over 2 million views. Seo Su-min revealed on the channel that she received love calls from famous agencies and explained that she became interested in acting because she lacked confidence in dancing and singing.
