In the 10th episode of JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Chief Detective 1958', it was revealed that the true culprit who tried to kill Choi Sung Group Chairman Kang Yong-ho (Son Hyun-joo) was not Kang Jae-kyung (Jeon Hye-jin) but his daughter-in-law, Na Eun-se (Lee Seo-an). Hwang Jun-hyun (Lee Jun-young) realized this fact and became enraged. Kang Yong-ho, who was presumed dead, was alive with the help of Kang Jae-sung (Jin Goo).

Hwang Jun-hyun went undercover as Kang Jae-kyung's closest associate to secure evidence of her crimes. When CCTV recording was suspended due to a hospital security check, Hwang Jun-hyun, suspecting Kang Jae-kyung's involvement, tracked down the hospital security guard with Lee Sang-jae (Kim Jong-tae). In the process, Hwang Jun-hyun confirmed that the person who tried to harm Kang Yong-ho was not his daughter Kang Jae-kyung, but his daughter-in-law Na Eun-se. Hwang Jun-hyun expressed his anger at the true culprit's identity, saying, "So it was you who killed me."
