Lee Jun Young's New Drama Hits 10.4% Rating

The viewership ratings for the 9th episode of JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama "The Chairman's New Employee" reached 10.6% in the Seoul metropolitan area and 10.4% nationwide, setting a new personal best. These figures are based on Nielsen Korea's paid household standards.

In the 9th episode, new employee Hwang Jun-hyun (played by Lee Jun-young), who is possessed by the spirit of Choi Sung Group Chairman Kang Yong-ho (played by Son Hyun-ju), executed a dangerous plan to stand alone on Kang Jae-kyung's (played by Jeon Hye-jin) side to prevent her wicked deeds. Upon hearing the news of Kang Yong-ho's death, Hwang Jun-hyun realized that Kang Yong-ho's death within his body meant his own death and decided to rectify the wrongdoings committed by Kang Jae-kyung.

Hwang Jun-hyun approached Kang Jae-kyung and declared, "I will stand on your side, not Kang Bang-geul's (played by Lee Joo-myung)," suggesting she target Kang Bang-geul's mother, Jo Sun-hee (played by Yoon Yoo-sun). Following this suggestion, Kang Jae-kyung stole Jo Sun-hee's personal seal and bankbook, fabricated evidence, and framed Jo Sun-hee for the Choi Sung Trading slush fund incident, leading to her arrest. To save her mother, Kang Bang-geul offered 15% of her Choi Sung Solution shares. Kang Jae-kyung accepted this, satisfied with Hwang Jun-hyun's plan.

Later, at the inauguration ceremony for the new chairman, Kang Jae-kyung announced the establishment of a Future Business Team and appointed Hwang Jun-hyun as its head. Hwang Jun-hyun, who had been opposing Kang Jae-kyung alongside Kang Bang-geul, suddenly became Kang Jae-kyung's closest confidant, leaving Kang Bang-geul feeling betrayed and shocked.
