Psy's 'Summer Swag' Concert: Director Jang Hangjun, Park Jihoon Appear

Psy's "Summer Swag" concert, a symbol of Korean summer, kicked off its 2026 run starting with a performance in Uijeongbu. From the very beginning, the concert was filled with a surprisingly luxurious lineup and roaring cheers.

The opening of "Psy Summer Swag 2026" held at Uijeongbu Stadium in Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province, at 6 PM on the 27th, began with a surprise video that defied audience expectations. Director Jang Hang-jun of the movie "King and the Clown" and actor Park Ji-hoon appeared in the opening VCR, heralding the spectacular prelude to the concert.

In the released VCR, Director Jang Hang-jun showcased his unique wit and humor while conducting an "Emperor Danjong Audition." Psy and Park Ji-hoon displayed a playful chemistry with their acting, eliciting laughter from the audience. Particularly, at the end of the video, Park Ji-hoon heightened the atmosphere to its peak with the powerful line, "​Are you ready to jump?"

As soon as Park Ji-hoon's shout ended, Psy appeared from behind the stage and ignited the concert with a passionate rendition of his hit song "Hiphop Playa." He exclaimed, "​Uijeongbu, are you ready to jump without regrets, are you ready?" showcasing the overwhelming charisma befitting Psy's signature summer brand concert, which began in 2011.
