Park Jinwoo, Kim Bujang's Neighbor Laundry Owner

Actor Park Jin-woo has transformed into the neighboring laundromat owner of Kim Bu-jang (played by So Ji-sub) in SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama '​Kim Bu-jang', showcasing his friendly charm. 'Kim Bu-jang' is a revenge action drama about an ordinary father who becomes a dangerous man to get his daughter back. Park Jin-woo has rejoined the SBS Friday-Saturday drama lineup after successfully completing his previous work, 'Wonderful New World'.

In the drama, the laundromat owner played by Park Jin-woo appears as a friendly neighbor commonly seen in the neighborhood. He realistically portrays a nosy but warm-hearted character, complimenting Min-ji's (played by Seo Su-min) school uniform ironing as she heads to school and asking about Kim Bu-jang's well-being on his way to work.

Notably, upon seeing Kim Bu-jang's disheveled suit, which had gotten into a scuffle with gangsters the previous night, the laundromat owner's "Suits need dry cleaning" remark, demonstrating his occupational obsession, elicited laughter. He nagged Kim Bu-jang, saying, "You know there's a laundromat downstairs, and it really hurts my pride," and urged him to get it ironed. He then added to the humor by muttering to himself, "No wonder they look so alike, like father and daughter. My sales pitch doesn't work."

Park Jin-woo's casual, offhand lines and his sly, everyday acting further highlighted the down-to-earth charm of the laundromat owner character. As a neighbor who closely observes the daily lives of Kim Bu-jang and his daughter, he added small laughs and warm comfort to the drama, raising expectations for his future performance.

Since the 2003 film 'Memories of Murder', Park Jin-woo has demonstrated his presence through numerous supporting roles in works such as 'Stove League', 'The Veil', 'Military Prosecutor Doberman', 'One Dollar Lawyer', 'Squid Game' seasons 2 and 3, and the recently concluded 'Wonderful New World'. His performance in 'Kim Bu-jang', following his previous role, is drawing attention.
