DK Park Ji Hyun Takes Fukuoka Busking Stage

The music web variety show 'Backpacking Busking 3' begins its journey in Fukuoka, Japan, with DK and Park Ji-hyun as new travel companions. This season, which premieres today (26th) on the YouTube channel Studio:D, features the analog mission travelogue of the two artists.

Balladeer DK and trot singer Park Ji-hyun immediately surrendered their cell phones upon arriving in Fukuoka, Japan, and embarked on an unpredictable journey starting with a "Lucky Bag of Fate" mission for their daily expenses. They will show their chaotic adventures, including a walking tour due to lack of funds in over 30-degree Celsius heat, and their efforts to find a "benefactor" to overcome the situation.

This season will showcase a variety of experiences, including mukbang (eating shows), busking in a mountain villa, and hot spring experiences. The unpredictable conversations and unexpected chemistry between the two artists, who work in different music genres, are key highlights. The show will depict them building memories as they endure hardships and communicate together throughout Fukuoka. Notably, the busking performances, set against the backdrop of Fukuoka's city center, local izakayas, and natural landscapes, deeply moved the locals with the blend of their contrasting vocal tones.

Two songs performed during the busking sessions will be officially released as sound sources. DK will release a remake of Ahn Jae-wook's hit song 'Forever' on June 28th at 6 PM, and Park Ji-hyun will release her reinterpretation of Lim Chang-jung's 'Sad Soliloquy' on July 12th at 6 PM.

'Backpacking Busking 3', featuring the unexpected combination of DK and Park Ji-hyun with their different vocal tones, charms, and genres, premiered on June 26th and can be seen every Friday at 5 PM on the YouTube Studio:D channel.
