So Ji-sub Transforms into Monster Action Boss

In 2026, the Year of the Red Horse, the broadcasting industry is set to unveil a diverse lineup of dramas across various genres. Expectations for K-dramas are high with the return of major stars like Ha Jung-woo, Lee Na-young, So Ji-sub, and Im Soo-jung, as well as the appearances of stars such as IU, Byeon Woo-seok, Suzy, and Lee Jong-suk.

SBS will present a large number of genre dramas again this year, following last year. In particular, '​Manager Kim', So Ji-sub's comeback project, is based on the Naver webtoon of the same name and tells the story of Manager Kim (So Ji-sub), an ordinary family man who reveals his secrets and risks everything to find his daughter. KBS has prepared a lineup targeting all age groups, including mini-series, daily dramas, and weekend dramas. Starting with the new Saturday-Sunday drama '​My Dearest Thief', the historical drama '​King Munmu' is scheduled to be released after approximately two years.

MBC will kick off the new year with the Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge Lee Han-young', featuring Ji Sung as a key player. Furthermore, the romance drama '​The Grand Princess of the 21st Century', starring IU and Byeon Woo-seok, is considered MBC's most anticipated project. In addition, various other dramas featuring Seo Hyun-jin, Yoo Yeon-seok, Gong Hyo-jin, Han Hyo-joo, Shin Ha-kyun, Lee Sung-kyung, Chae Jong-hyeop, and others have been scheduled.

tvN, celebrating its 20th anniversary, will present the Monday-Tuesday drama 'Spring Fever', followed by Park Shin-hye's comeback project, the retro office comedy 'Undercover Miss Hong', the occult romance 'My Sweet Horror' starring Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong, and Song Kang's post-military discharge comeback drama 'Four Hands'. Additionally, Ha Jung-woo's return to the small screen after 19 years in '​How to Become a Building Owner in Korea' and Kim Go-eun's 'Yumi's Cells 3' are also set to meet viewers.
