MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Fifties Professionals' concluded with a joyful finale that captured laughter, action, and catharsis. In the final episode aired on the 27th, Jung Ho-myung (Shin Ha-kyun), Bulgae (Oh Jung-se), and Kang Beom-ryong (Heo Sung-tae) successfully completed the Yeongseondo mission that had failed 10 years prior, leading to a satisfying happy ending. The final episode recorded a peak viewership of 8.2%, with 5.3% in the Seoul metropolitan area and 5.0% nationwide.

Jung Ho-myung executed a final operation with a 50% success rate, using Lee Cheol-jin (Jung Suk-yong) as bait to capture Han Kyung-wook (Kim Sang-kyung). The three men set out to finish the mission they couldn't complete a decade ago with the resolve, "We've only lived half our lives. We have to bet the other half and go all out, fighting for our lives."

Jung Ho-myung's plan succeeded. By framing Lee Cheol-jin as an armed infiltrator, they drew attention, leading to Lee Cheol-jin's arrest. Prosecutor Kang (Kim Shin-rok) then applied pressure on Han Kyung-wook by announcing at a press conference that statements had been secured identifying former Assemblyman Han Kyung-wook as the likely mastermind. Team Leader Jo (Kim Sang-ho), the K-pop dance club, and the residents of Yeongseondo all lent their support, completing a delightful team effort with collaboration where everyone became one team.

Despite pressure from within the prosecution, Prosecutor Kang did not back down. She turned the situation around by releasing a recording of her own assassination being ordered, and demanded that the proceedings continue according to warrant procedures, delivering a sharp warning: "If you don't want to be swept away and replaced along with the murderer who ordered the assassination of a South Korean prosecutor, make your judgment wisely." This completed the net closing in on Han Kyung-wook.

Jung Ho-myung lured Han Kyung-wook to a 폐리조트 (abandoned resort), gathering Hwang Hwa-san (Kim Byung-ok) and Chairman Do (Kwon Yul) for the final stage to conclude their 10-year antagonistic relationship. Jung Ho-myung, Bulgae, Kang Beom-ryong, and Ma Gong-bok engaged in a desperate struggle against dozens of enemies, sparing no effort. Despite being overwhelmingly outnumbered, the four faced their opponents with trust in each other. With the addition of the Yoo In-gu (Hyun Bong-sik) brothers, the tide of battle turned.
