Singer and actress Nam Gyu-ri has sent her unwavering affection and heartfelt support to the national World Cup team. In the video, Nam Gyu-ri watched the World Cup match against South Africa with close friends, including actress Yoon Seul, during her day off. Their passionate display, wearing red cheering outfits to soothe the disappointment from the previous loss against Mexico and to wish for advancement to the Round of 32, drew attention.

To make the game more enjoyable, Nam Gyu-ri proposed a special bet. If Korea won or drew, she would treat the staff to a meal. If they lost, Nam Gyu-ri, who normally cannot eat spicy food at all, would have to eat the spiciest tteokbokki as a penalty.

Nam Gyu-ri, who cheered for the players throughout the game, expressed her disappointment when the match ended 0-1, saying, "I feel so sorry for the players. I can't believe it."
