Singer Dindin pointed out that an apology is needed from coach Hong Myung-bo regarding the South Korean national football team's elimination from the group stage. Dindin shared a live commentary video of a football match on his social media story, writing, "If I were the person in charge, shouldn't there be an apology?"

Previously, during the live commentary of the match between South Korea and South Africa for the 2026 FIFA World Cup North, Central America on the 25th, Dindin stated after South Korea lost 0-1, "If you are the person leading the team, when the results are not good, there should be a statement like 'I should have achieved better results, and I apologize.'" He also criticized coach Hong Myung-bo's attitude, saying, "Who would accept just words of taking responsibility?"

These remarks by Dindin have garnered renewed attention after the South Korean national football team's elimination from the group stage was confirmed.
