Korean Trot Singers Sung Ri, Jang Han Byul, Lee Chang Min

At the MBN trot survival show 'Mugyeong Legend' TOP7 concert, Seongri, Jang Han-byul, and Lee Chang-min made a surprise transformation into idol singers by performing TVXQ's "Mirotic." They showcased outstanding dance skills, and Lee Chang-min, in particular, garnered enthusiastic responses by losing 8kg and revealing his chiseled abs. Lee Chang-min stated, "I wanted to show my best effort through this concert."

After the performance, Jang Han-byul mentioned Lee Chang-min's rigorous diet, saying, "Changmin hyung worked the hardest and most intensely. He lost a whopping 8kg." Lee Chang-min revealed that he went from 84kg during the January recording to his current 71kg, adding, "I can't maintain these abs. The process was too difficult." Seongri joked that he would dance harder, inspired by Lee Chang-min's efforts, eliciting laughter, while Lee Chang-min humbly praised Seongri's dancing abilities.

'Mugyeong Legend' began with the concept of shedding light on unknown, unsigned singers and bringing a new trend to the trot market. It garnered significant attention, recording the No. 1 variety show in its time slot for 12 consecutive weeks from its first broadcast to its finale. Meanwhile, the 'Mugyeong Legend' national tour concert, which started in Anyang on the 13th, is scheduled to visit a total of 14 cities, with the final performance in Cheongju on September 19th.

Singer Seongri performed his song "Aega," dedicated to his mother, as the opening act at the 'Mugyeong Legend' concert. He quipped, "I'm not just good at dancing, I'm good at singing too," and repeatedly expressed his gratitude for the sold-out Seoul concert. Seongri was the final winner of 'Mugyeong Legend,' taking first place in both the first and second rounds of the finals. He demonstrated his potential by reaching the finals for the first time after six auditions and securing first place in the online public vote for seven consecutive weeks.

Lee Chang-min, formerly of 2AM, performed his self-composed song "Balbadage Bulna-doro" on stage for the first time as a trot singer. Introducing himself as "Debut 19th year, trot rookie Lee Chang-min," he mentioned listening to a lot of trot music since childhood and expressed gratitude that his self-composed songs are being sung by other trot singers. Lee Chang-min, who debuted with 2AM in 2008, has composed approximately 100 trot songs and revealed that he overcame slumps he experienced during his career through trot music.
