Kim Moo-yeol's 'The Roundup' Hits 8th Globally

The Netflix series "Ryu's Library" starring Kim Mu-yeol and Lee Sung-min has ranked number one globally for four consecutive weeks. "The Boys at the Back," starring Choi Min-sik and Choi Hyun-wook, debuted at number eight globally in its first week.

"Ryu's Library" recorded 7.3 million viewing hours last week, topping the non-English TV shows category. The series tells the story of the Office for the Protection of Teachers' Rights, established to protect the collapsing education system in South Korea.

Released on the 5th, "Ryu's Library" immediately shot to number one globally in its first week and has maintained its top position for four consecutive weeks. Although the original webtoon faced controversy over sexism and racism, the series has received positive reviews from domestic and international viewers for its fast-paced plot and unique characters.

"Ryu's Library" ranked number one in six countries, including Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia, and appeared in the top 10 in a total of 75 countries.

"The Boys at the Back," starring Choi Min-sik and Choi Hyun-wook, ranked eighth globally in its first week. The series depicts the story of a failed writer and Korean literature professor who discovers the genius of a student in the back row of his classroom and becomes obsessed with his writing.
