On the tvN entertainment program 'You Quiz on the Block,' 11-year-old Lee Yu-ju and her mother revealed the behind-the-scenes story of her Children's Day news interview. Lee Yu-ju garnered attention at the time with her mature answer, "I think this trip itself is a gift," and at the end of the interview, her mother elicited laughter by mentioning a more realistic wish: "Buy me a Nintendo."

When asked by Yoo Jae-suk why she couldn't maintain her composure and spoke up as the interview dragged on, her mother confessed, "Although only a little was shown on broadcast, I held back a lot off-camera." Furthermore, when her mother said Lee Yu-ju spoke "like a country mouse who just moved to the city," she retorted, "You could have said a hamster," making the studio burst into laughter.

Lee Yu-ju revealed the secret to her excellent speaking skills, saying, "I thought I wanted to say something mature, and it just came out." Her mother replied, "​My family members are naturally talkative," and disclosed that Lee Yu-ju has a reading habit of reading about 20 books a day and reads about three times a week. Her favorite book was 'The Dangerous Book for Boys'.

Yoo Jae-suk was once again impressed by Lee Yu-ju's eloquence. Her mother shared another secret to their fluent speaking skills, revealing that instead of playing word chain games with her family, they often play association word quizzes or take turns creating sentences to build stories. Additionally, her mother added that she graduated from the Air Force Academy and is in charge of personnel education for service members.
