K-Drama Stars Ji Sung & Ha Yoon Kyung in Apartment Family Scam Plot

JTBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'The Apartment' is a lighthearted family scam story starring Ji Sung and Ha Yoonkyung, who embark on a mission to raise 10 billion won. The drama is a slice-of-life human drama about Park Haekang (Ji Sung), a former boss of the Oasis faction who runs for the residents' representative council president to seize the "blind money" within the apartment complex, and how he works with the residents to dismantle corruption.

In the drama, Park Haekang faces a crisis when he is threatened with his father-like figure, Park Yongman (Jung Jin Young), being held hostage, with the demand, "Make 10 billion won in three months." In response, Park Haekang devises a plan to collect congratulatory money through a fake wedding and recruits Kang Hari (Ha Yoonkyung), who was working as a role-playing part-timer while hiding her failure on the bar exam, as his fake bride. Kang Hari is initially flustered but accepts the offer when a large sum of money is proposed, officially beginning their '​intermittent family scam.'

As the funds are still insufficient, Park Haekang discovers 17.8 billion won in long-term repair funds (Jangchunggeum) and decides to run for the residents' representative council president election. He offers Kang Hari 100 million won and fully dives into the scam. Meanwhile, Lee Choongwon (Park Byung Eun), a 'two-faced businessman,' confronts Park Haekang, adding to the tension.

The drama consists of a total of 12 episodes and is scheduled to premiere on the 11th at 10:40 PM. At the end of the released highlight video, the subtitle "10 Billion Won Family Scam!" appears, followed by a scene of Park Haekang and his fake family marching through the apartment complex, heightening anticipation.
