Yoo Seung Ho Plays Chaebol in 'Flex X Cop 2'

Actor Yoo Seung-ho will appear in SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama '​Flex X Cop 2'. The drama is scheduled to air in the second half of 2026 and depicts the investigation story of a spoiled third-generation chaebol who becomes a detective in the violent crimes unit. Director Kim Jae-hong and writer Kim Ba-da, who worked on Season 1, are collaborating again, and Jung Eun-chae (as Joo Hye-ra) has joined as Ahn Bo-hyun's (as Jin Yi-soo) new partner.

Yoo Seung-ho will make a special appearance as 'Yoo Sung-won,' the youngest son of a media chaebol family and a sculptor. This appearance was made possible through his connection with director Kim Jae-hong, with whom he previously worked on the drama 'My Strange Hero'. In the drama, Yoo Sung-won will build a friendship with Jin Yi-soo through a third-generation chaebol gathering, forming a brotherly relationship.

With 27 years in the industry, Yoo Seung-ho has expanded his acting spectrum through various projects and has been recognized for his acting skills, portraying both good and evil characters. His addition is expected to bring new vitality to the drama. Much attention is being paid to how Yoo Seung-ho, returning to the small screen after three years, will perform in the crime investigation drama 'Flex X Cop 2', and his chemistry with Ahn Bo-hyun.

'Flex X Cop 2' depicts the joint investigation of Jin Yi-soo, a third-generation chaebol detective who uses money and connections as his weapon, and veteran detective Joo Hye-ra as they crack down on increasingly cunning criminals. The first teaser video released by the production team foreshadows an upgraded scale of investigation, showing them tracking criminals by flying overseas on a private jet and engaging in car chases involving helicopters and foreign cars.

The Violent Crimes Unit 1 faces new changes. Joo Hye-ra (played by Jung Eun-chae), the devilish instructor who made Jin Yi-soo's life difficult during police academy days, appears as the new team leader. Her fearless action and charisma will dominate the screen. Jin Yi-soo says, "This is a nightmare," but Joo Hye-ra retorts, "It's reality," raising expectations for their new chemistry.
