Kim Young Kwang's Wife Resembles Ye Won? Star Sparks Lookalike Debate

Former soccer player Kim Young-kwang is on the verge of being kicked out by his wife after making candid remarks comparing her to singer Yewon, stating she resembles the singer. Kim Young-kwang appeared on the SBS Power FM show '2 O'Clock Escape Cultwo Show' on July 2nd with special DJs Kwak Bum and Kim Tae-gyun.

During the broadcast, the DJs mentioned that during a past show Kim Young-kwang appeared on with his wife, it was said that his wife resembled Yewon, and they revealed comparison photos. In response, Kim Young-kwang honestly replied, "Seeing her in person, Yewon is much prettier." When the DJs expressed concern that his wife might be listening, Kim Young-kwang joked, "I don't plan on going home today," emphasizing that Yewon is prettier in real life.

Although Yewon tried to smooth things over by saying, "You're complimenting me, but isn't your wife number one in reality?", Kim Young-kwang replied, "I don't think so." The DJs predicted Kim Young-kwang wouldn't be allowed into his home, and he added, "I'll probably be sleeping outside the door," eliciting laughter.

Regarding the start of his relationship with his wife, Kim Young-kwang revealed, "The first time I met her, she was radiant. I proposed marriage within 24 hours of meeting her." He mentioned that they dated for three and a half years before getting married and recalled the time, "At first, I thought, 'Is she crazy?', but then I felt her sincerity, so I guess it was okay." He also added, "I've never been told I'm handsome before."

Meanwhile, Kim Young-kwang recently caused a stir by shouting "Hong Myung-bo, get out" during a live broadcast. Kim Young-kwang married dermatologist Kim Eun-ji in 2010 and they have two daughters. His wife runs a dermatology clinic in Cheongdam-dong.
