Actor So Ji-seop has revealed details about his daily life and his upcoming drama, "Chief Kim." He will be playing the role of a father raising his high school daughter alone, and he shared that "the title 'Dad' felt the most awkward," discussing his process of adapting to the role.

Regarding a scene where he wears an apron and prepares breakfast, So Ji-seop revealed his domestic side, stating, "I do a lot of housework at home normally." He also mentioned that he can cook basic meals himself due to living alone for a long time and learns necessary recipes through the internet and videos. He added that on days without filming, he maintains a regular routine by exercising and eating at home whenever possible.

So Ji-seop married former announcer Cho Eun-jung in 2020 and is currently meeting viewers in the drama "Chief Kim" as the character Kim Bu-jang, a father who struggles to protect his daughter.

SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama "Chief Kim" is a revenge action drama about an ordinary father who becomes the most dangerous man in the world to get his only daughter back. So Ji-seop plays the role of Chief Kim, who is disguised as an employee of a small and medium-sized savings bank but is a former special agent. The released stills show him preparing breakfast for his daughter while wearing a floral apron and ironing her school uniform, hinting at the contrast between his human fatherly side and intense action.

The drama is scheduled to premiere on June 26.
