Actor Lee Min-ho has been offered a role in the new drama ‘Virtual Love’ (tentative title) and is currently reviewing it. Lee Min-ho's agency, MYM Entertainment, announced this on the 2nd to Star News, OSEN, and Ilgan Sports.

‘Virtual Love’ is a story that depicts the unpredictable romance of an office worker who discovers that the virtual idol group member who helps her endure her tough daily life is actually her boss. Jang Young-seok, director of SBS’s ‘Try: We Become a Miracle’, is expected to direct.

Lee Min-ho has been offered the role of Cha Wook-hyun, the general director of a game company. Cha Wook-hyun appears perfect on the outside, but is considered the worst boss at the company due to his cold and meticulous nature. The drama is expected to comically portray his precarious double life after debuting in a virtual group due to a certain event.

If Lee Min-ho appears in ‘Virtual Love’, it will be his return to the small screen after two years, following the tvN drama ‘Ask the Stars’, which ended in February of last year. At the time, ‘Ask the Stars’ recorded a somewhat disappointing final episode viewership rating of 2.6%.

Meanwhile, Lee Min-ho is awaiting the release of the movie ‘Assassins’, scheduled to open this Chuseok. This film is a mystery thriller based on the assassination attempt on the First Lady, which was broadcast live nationwide on Liberation Day in 1974.
