Namgoong Min's Marriage Finale Premieres

KBS2's new Saturday-Sunday mini-series "The Completion of Marriage" will premiere on the 4th at 9:20 PM. This drama is a crime thriller depicting the story of a man who engages in an extreme struggle with a criminal to save his wife, who was kidnapped just before their divorce. Expectations are high due to the collaboration between director Kim Jung-hyun and actors Namkoong Min, Kim Dae-myung, Lee Seol, and Lee Sang-hee.

In a pre-release video for the first episode, released before the premiere, the deteriorating relationship between Kang Tae-joo (played by Namkoong Min) and his wife Go Se-yoon (played by Lee Seol) was depicted. When Go Se-yoon throws away a carabiner, meaningful to the couple, into the trash, a shocked Kang Tae-joo announces their divorce. However, Go Se-yoon surprises Kang Tae-joo by saying, "I'm not getting a divorce. I said I'm not getting a divorce," and leaves with the ominous remark, "​Perhaps it will be possible if one of us dies."

"The Completion of Marriage" will compete with SBS's drama "Chief Kim" on Saturdays. At the press conference, Namkoong Min stated, "'Chief Kim' is also an interesting and charming production," but he wittily requested, "We would be grateful if you watch 'The Completion of Marriage' on both Saturday and Sunday."

The pre-release video for the first episode captured the moment Kang Tae-joo (played by Namkoong Min) and Go Se-yoon (played by Lee Seol) destroy each other while mentioning a divorce that is only possible through death. When Go Se-yoon discards a carabiner significant to the couple, Kang Tae-joo declares divorce, but Go Se-yoon coldly replies, "​Because you want it. I don't want to do anything you want." In response to Kang Tae-joo's ultimatum, Go Se-yoon counters with a chilling warning, "​Try it if you can. Perhaps it will be possible if one of us dies."
