Actor Ok Taec-yeon will make a special appearance in SBS's Friday-Saturday drama ‘Chief Kim’, heightening the drama's tension. Ok Taec-yeon will showcase intense action chemistry with the lead actor, So Ji-sub, adding momentum to the mid-point development of the drama.

In the drama, Ok Taec-yeon plays ‘Park Young-gwang,’ an operative carrying out a special mission. Known by the codename Agent 66, Park Young-gwang is an ally to Chief Kim (played by So Ji-sub) and a multi-faceted character who becomes a crucial variable in the plot's progression. In the released behind-the-scenes photos, Ok Taec-yeon is seen wielding a dagger with a fierce gaze that seems ready to pierce his opponent, or wearing black tactical military attire with a rifle slung over his shoulder, maintaining a vigilant stance with a cold expression, exuding an overwhelming presence.

Regarding his decision to appear, Ok Taec-yeon expressed his special affection for So Ji-sub, stating, "Just the fact that I could act with senior So Ji-sub made me incredibly excited. I didn't need to consider any other factors."

‘Chief Kim’ is a revenge action drama about an ordinary father who dives into a vortex of massive crime to save his daughter. Since its premiere, it has garnered viewer responses with its fast-paced plot and immersive action. Notably, lead actor So Ji-sub, with his solid acting skills, has secured a top spot on the drama cast buzzworthiness chart within the first week of broadcast, anchoring the work.
