Day6 Young K's Adorable Apple Hairstyle Revealed

DAY6 member Young K has revealed his transformation with an "apple hairstyle." Young K posted a commemorative photo taken in the waiting room after DAY6's solo concert on his official Instagram on June 21. In the photo, Young K, with a cute dimple smile, garnered cheers from fans by showcasing an apple-shaped hairstyle with some of his hair tied up using the official character 'KE' MD scrunchie.

On this day, Young K set Choi Sung-gon's (played by Oh Jung-se) hit song 'I Like You' from the movie 'Wild Card' OST as the background music. The lyrics, 'I like you / I like you because you're pretty,' seemed to represent the feelings of fans who saw the apple hairstyle selfie.

DAY6, the band Young K belongs to, held solo concerts in Kobe, Japan, on June 20 and 21 as part of their 10th-anniversary tour 'The DECADE'. After concluding their overseas tour with the Kobe performances, DAY6 is scheduled to wrap up their grand journey with an encore concert, 'The DECADE FINALE in SEOUL,' from July 3 to 5 at Seoul's KSPO DOME. This encore concert also sold out all seats.

Young K is gearing up for a new solo album release and a solo concert this summer. He revealed on his personal YouTube channel, 'Young K,' that all song production is complete and he is participating in the solo concert planning meetings for the first time.

This solo album marks Young K's comeback after approximately three years. He made his solo debut in 2021 with his first mini-album 'Eternal' and expanded his musical spectrum by releasing his first full-length album 'Letters with notes' in 2023. This third solo album is expected to showcase not only the artist Young K but also the diverse charms of the person Kang Young-hyun (Young K's real name). Young K mentioned, "​Working on this album was the most fun I've had with any project so far," stating that he has found his musical taste.
