Heo Namjun & Hong Yiseol Dating Rumors Denied

Actor Heo Nam-jun confessed his feelings at the time regarding the dating rumors with Hong Yi-seol in an interview following the end of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Wonderful New World'. Heo Nam-jun played the role of Cha Se-gye, a 'vile chaebol', in the drama.

Heo Nam-jun revealed that he felt good about viewer reactions such as "This guy is really not my style, but he's annoying" and "He's bothering me." He expressed satisfaction as an actor in showing charm that transcends viewers' tastes through his work.

He named Kim Mu-yeol as his role model and admired how Kim Mu-yeol meticulously took care of even the minor actors on set. He also praised Kim Mu-yeol's life, saying, "It seems like he is living the life of a good person," after witnessing his dedication to both work and family.

After finishing 'Wonderful New World', Heo Nam-jun will appear in the new tvN drama 'Whale Star'. He explained that the character in 'Whale Star' is "​much more mature and restrained" than Cha Se-gye in 'Wonderful New World', adding that the character's pain creates his charm.

Regarding the dating rumors with Hong Yi-seol, Heo Nam-jun recalled, "It was really fun at first. I laughed a lot." He never imagined there would be dating rumors with Hong Yi-seol and honestly shared his feelings, saying, "​I can really get linked like this. It was truly amazing."
