Seoul Music Awards 35th Anniversary Festival

The 35th Seoul Music Awards was successfully held on January 20th at the Inspire Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon. Hosted by Sports Seoul and organized by the Seoul Music Awards Organizing Committee, the awards ceremony celebrated its 35th anniversary by delivering unforgettable moments to K-pop fans worldwide.

The highest honor, the Daesang (Grand Prize), was awarded to the group ATEEZ. BOYNEXTDOOR proved their global popularity by winning a total of four awards, including the '​Best Album Award'. ZEROBASEONE and LE SSERAFIM each took home three awards. Notably, Lee Chan-won achieved four wins, receiving the 'Popularity Award', 'Trot Award', and 'Bonsang (Main Prize)'.

In newly established categories this year, EXO received the '​Golden Revival' award, and Doh Kyung-soo won the '​New Icon' award. Lee Chan-won was also honored with the '​SMA Best Artist Award'. Super Junior and Yeonjun received the '​K-POP WORLD CHOICE' award, while BTS was presented with the '​Hallyu Special Award'.

The Rookie Award was presented to Ahop, Aidit, Alphadriveone, and Close Your Eyes, while '​SMA Global Rookie Award' went to Identity, Say My Name, and Modisea. In addition, various artists such as Han Lo-ro, Sung Han-bin, Dragon Pony, xikers, Izna, Dayoung, and Rula received awards in their respective categories.

The recipients of the Bonsang (Main Prize) included ten artists/groups: Kwon Eun-bi, Dayoung, LE SSERAFIM, BOYNEXTDOOR, Alphadriveone, ATEEZ, Lee Chan-won, ZEROBASEONE, Kiki, and Hats to Hearts.
