Kang Sung Yeon's remarriage family photos revealed

Actress Kang Sung-yeon has personally announced her remarriage and shared family photos. Kang Sung-yeon revealed the news of her remarriage through her personal social media, stating, "We live a life of kindness and peace, with deep consideration and trust for each other." The released photos show a family trip to Jeju Island with her new husband and two sons.

Kang Sung-yeon's remarriage partner is known to be neurologist Jang Min-wook. Dr. Jang runs the Navigation Neurology Clinic and lectures on areas such as headaches, dementia, and brain aging. He has also appeared on numerous broadcasts, including KBS's 'Achim Madang'. Notably, he and Kang Sung-yeon previously worked together on JTBC's 'Doctor's Seol Seol Rae'. Kang Sung-yeon indirectly confirmed that her remarriage partner is Dr. Jang by responding to congratulatory comments from fans with, "I am truly grateful for your kind words."

Kang Sung-yeon married jazz pianist Kim Ga-on in 2012 and had two sons. However, her divorce became known in December 2023. Approximately four months after her divorce, in January, Kang Sung-yeon mentioned the existence of a new relationship, stating, "I have met a truly good person who loves my children even more than I do, and I am living happily."

Regarding her reason for personally announcing the remarriage news, Kang Sung-yeon explained, "I am announcing it now after a period of caution, fearing it might cause a stir. I didn't want to make a big announcement, but I felt it was important to properly convey how I am living now, so I gathered the courage." She also shared her resolve for this new chapter, saying, "I contemplated what kind of mindset I should have as the youngest daughter of my parents, the mother of two sons, and the wife in a newly formed family." Fans are sending messages of support, such as, "It's even better because you look happy," and "I hope you build an even warmer family with your children."
