Korean Actor Han Ji-il Mourns Passing of Go Ok-hee

Singer Ok Hee passed away on June 20, and actor Han Ji-il expressed his condolences through social media. The deceased was a female singer famous for her hit songs in the 1970s, such as 'I Don't Know' and 'Neighbor,' and had been battling kidney cancer since being diagnosed last year.

Han Ji-il paid tribute to the deceased by posting on his social media, "My beloved younger sister, singer Ok Hee, left our side for heaven at 8:40 PM on June 20. I sincerely pray for her soul."

The deceased's wake has been set up at the Asan Medical Center Funeral Hall in Seoul, and the funeral is scheduled to be held as the President of the Korea Singers Association.

A photo released by Han Ji-il shows Han Ji-il, Ok Hee, and the deceased's husband, Hong Soo-hwan, smiling together, hinting at the special bond between the three during their lives.

Previously, Han Ji-il had mentioned Ok Hee's health condition, saying, "My younger sister Ok Hee is very ill. My brother Hong Soo-hwan is taking meticulous care of her," and Hong Soo-hwan is known to have stayed by her side and cared for her throughout her illness.
