ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Doctor Smboy' is a medical human romance set on the remote island of Pyeondongdo, depicting the story of public health doctor Do Ji-han (played by Lee Jae-wook) and the mysterious nurse Yuk Ha-ri (played by Shin Ye-eun) as they get entangled with the island residents. The first episode captivated viewers by portraying Do Ji-han's day struggling in the island village where constant incidents occur, and his fated encounter with Yuk Ha-ri. The bewildered Do Ji-han and Yuk Ha-ri, watching the situation with stern expressions, foreshadow another ordeal in Do Ji-han's turbulent adaptation period. Furthermore, the scene where Pyeondong Village head Park Chun-sik (played by Woo Hyun), who collapsed from a heart attack in the previous episode, reveals his anger, amplifies the curiosity about the reason.
