TWICE Sana's "No Pants" Controversy Sparks Upset

Group TWICE member Sana directly addressed the "no-pants" controversy that arose from her event outfit. Through the fan communication platform Bubble, Sana explained the situation at the time, expressing her feelings of injustice and upset.

Sana said, "When I tried it on, I wore it so the front wouldn't open, but I was so flustered when entering the event venue that I couldn't properly look in the mirror." She continued, "​It wasn't until I got to the waiting room that I realized the outfit had opened and was being photographed," conveying her bewildered feelings at the time.

She added, "I was already upset because I felt I didn't look as pretty as I did during the fitting, and it made me even more upset to see so many comments afterward," revealing her complex emotions.

Previously, Sana attended the Teazen Kombucha photowall event wearing a white tube-top dress with a floral pattern. However, the front of the dress opened, revealing her lower body, which was captured and led to online reactions such as "It looks like a swimsuit," "It reminds me of underwear," and "It's daring," alongside opposing opinions like "This is a style only Sana can pull off" and "It's a matter of fashion."

As the controversy grew, Sana directly explained the situation to her fans, conveying a stance that the exposure was not intentional.
