Moon Geun Young on You Quiz After Overcoming Compartment Syndrome

Actress Moon Geun-young will appear on tvN's variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' (hereinafter referred to as 'You Quiz'). This marks her first variety show appearance in seven years, since tvN's 'Amazing Saturday' in 2019, and her reunion with MC Yoo Jae-suk after 14 years, since appearing on SBS's 'Running Man' in 2012.

Moon Geun-young is currently active in the play 'Orphans', playing the gender-free character Tret. This production is her comeback to the theater stage after nine years, since 'Romeo and Juliet', and is drawing attention as the signal for the second act of her acting career.

Debuting in 1999 with the film 'On the Way', Moon Geun-young was loved as the 'Nation's Little Sister' for her roles in numerous works such as 'Autumn in My Heart', 'Empress Myeongseong', 'A Tale of Two Sisters', and 'My Little Bride'. Since then, she has demonstrated a wide acting spectrum through various projects including 'Painter of the Wind', 'Cinderella's Sister', 'Cheongdam-dong Alice', and 'The Village: Achiara's Secret'. Notably, her special appearance in the 2024 Netflix series 'Hellbound' Season 2 received praise for her intense and unconventional transformation.

Moon Geun-young was diagnosed with acute compartment syndrome in 2017 and underwent four surgeries, but she has since made a full recovery.
