Hong Ji-yoon Wins 'National Trot Queen 3' in Double Celebration

The Trot Show, Korea's first trot chart show, will return live on the 13th at 8 PM after approximately six months of reorganization. The Trot Show plans to further ignite the trot market's passion with its goal of engaging with fans until 2026.

On the broadcast scheduled for the 13th, Hong Ji-yoon, the winner of MBN's 'Hyun-yeok Ga-wang 3' (Queen of Singers 3), will serve as the special MC. Additionally, numerous trot stars such as Kang Hye-yeon, Geum Jan-di, Kim Ui-young, Na Tae-joo, The Blue, My Jin, Song Ga-in, Shin Yu, Ahn Sung-hoon, Yang Ji-eun, Lee Soo-yeon, Jo Jung-min, Choi Soo-ho, and Hwang Woo-rim will be appearing.

The Trot Show team has curated a lineup with great care from the very first broadcast for trot fans who have waited a long time, and will conduct voting with different themes and new concepts each week. Pre-voting and live real-time voting will be available through the global fandom platform Star Planet app, which is expected to provide both viewing enjoyment and participation fun for fans.

The Trot Show is a spin-off program of 'The Show,' which first aired on February 10, 2021, and has been widely loved as Korea's first trot ranking program. After its 151st episode on November 10, 2025, it went into a reorganization period and will now be broadcast every Monday at 8 PM on SBS LIFE starting from the 13th.

Meanwhile, Hong Ji-yoon garnered the most votes with 1,157 votes in the third week of March's Idol Chart Weekly Star. This is a double celebration following her victory as the Queen of Singers on MBN's 'Hyun-yeok Ga-wang 3,' which aired on the 10th. Hong Ji-yoon also garnered attention by announcing her intention to donate her entire prize money. Park Ji-hyun came in second with 734 votes, Lee So-na third with 100 votes, and Kim Ui-young fourth with 50 votes.
