The fan signing event for the group ALPHA DRIVE ONE has been postponed. Amidst recent private life controversies surrounding member Geonwoo, with some fandoms calling for his departure, the disruption to the fan event has led to various interpretations regarding the reason for the schedule change.

The reason why this schedule change is not being accepted as a simple operational issue is the accumulated fatigue within the fandom due to the controversy surrounding Geonwoo. Some fandoms held a funeral wreath protest in front of the CJ ENM building last month, demanding Geonwoo’s official statement or his departure, and have continued to voice similar demands since then.

The agency Wakeone announced its intention to take legal action in February when posts related to Geonwoo began to spread, but the backlash from within the fandom did not easily subside.
