Lee Jang-woo's side explains unpaid ingredient costs
Actor Lee Jang-woo's sundae soup restaurant, which he was known to operate, is embroiled in allegations of unpaid ingredient costs. Lee Jang-woo's side explained that they paid the fees to Company A, which had a contract with the livestock company, but that Company A failed to pay the outstanding amount, and they are currently discussing follow-up measures.
Dispatch reported that the sundae soup restaurant failed to pay 50 million won from November 2023 to May of last year, with additional outstanding payments reaching 64 million won by January of this year.

An official from the F&B company, where Lee Jang-woo is listed as a director, explained, "The contract with the livestock company was with Company A, the former corporate entity of the sundae soup restaurant. We paid Company A, but it was Company A that failed to pay the outstanding amount."

Lee Jang-woo's side maintains that according to the contract, Company A is responsible for the non-payment. However, given that the restaurant was promoted on broadcast as being operated by Lee Jang-woo, he cannot avoid moral responsibility.
In response, Lee Jang-woo's side stated, "We did not fail to pay the fees, but we are considering paying the amount on behalf of the company to resolve the situation."
