K-Pop Choreographer Battle: 10 Dancers Compete

The new expansion of Mnet's dance series, 'Street Dance Girls Fighter: Director's War' (hereinafter referred to as 'SDGF: Director's War'), has revealed its 10 performance director participants. This series is a competition program for 'performance directors' who plan and complete stages, showcasing their capabilities in not only choreography but also overall direction, including movement, production, and stage utilization. The lineup includes legends who have captivated global stages and fandoms, as well as MZ choreographers leading the latest performance trends.

Among the participants is Nain, representing the MZ generation. A member of Turns, the winning team from 'Street Dance Girls Fighter' Season 1, Nain is leading the next generation of performance trends through work with groups like Babymonster and Hats to Hats. With prior experience directing the choreography for the OST 'Golden' from 'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' Nain is expected to showcase their artistic prowess this season.

Renan, who has made a mark on the global stage, will also be competing. Having worked on aespa's performances and met the expectations of fans worldwide, Renan plans to present directing that combines global trends with the strengths of K-pop.

Bada, the leader of the winning crew from 'Street Woman Fighter 2' and a key figure behind the 'Smoke Challenge' phenomenon, has also joined the participant list. She is expected to once again demonstrate her unparalleled buzz and star power, along with an exceptional sense for performances that capture the public's attention.

The addition of Baek Gooyoung, a legendary first-generation performance director at SM Entertainment, is also noteworthy. Having created numerous boy group performances for artists like EXO and The Boyz, Baek Gooyoung is set to showcase the essence of directing based on his extensive experience and skills.
