Jungkook's profanity-filled live broadcast, RM's criticism back in the spotlight

Jungkook's recent live broadcast, where he directly expressed his frustration with his company, has led to past remarks by RM being re-examined. During the live broadcast, Jungkook honestly revealed his smoking habit, saying, "Why can't I talk about this? I'm thirty." He added, "The moment I talk about this, the company will go crazy again," but also stated, "I'm just saying it because I'm frustrated."

Throughout the live broadcast, Jungkook showed awareness of his company even while swearing. He said, "It might be controversial, I don't know, but that's me, so what can I do?" He continued, "Tomorrow, the members will talk about it again, and the company will say, 'Jungkook-ssi,' and so on." He also expressed concern, asking, "What will the company say to me?" while also telling fans who requested he end the broadcast, "I wish you wouldn't tell me what to do."

Jungkook confessed, "I am human. I just want to have fun," and added, "I wanted to be honest with ARMY. I wanted to talk about everything if it weren't for the company." He further commented, "If I were someone who made music alone, I think I would have talked about it without caring."

In light of this, remarks made by leader RM to their agency in the past are also being re-examined. RM had previously said during a live broadcast, "I hope our company would show us a little more affection," adding, "I hope they would embrace us a little more."

Furthermore, RM revealed during a live broadcast that he had contemplated the team's continuation. He stated, "I agonized tens of thousands of times whether it would be better to disband or to halt the team," and explained, "The reason we continue as a team is because of the love between the members and the love and respect for our fans."
