Min Hee-jin and Danielle Removed, HYBE's Strongest Move
ADOR, the agency of NewJeans, will remove traces of former member Danielle, who was expelled from the team, from the fan platform 'Phoning'. Phoning, a collaboration between ADOR and Weverse, announced that some content, including Danielle's chat history, will be terminated as of 11 AM on April 3rd.
Phoning stated, "While we cherish the memories built between artists and fans, we are reorganizing content to provide a better service." They added, "As this content contains precious memories of our fans, we are providing a viewing period."

Previously, in December of last year, ADOR notified Danielle of the termination of her exclusive contract, holding her responsible for delayed return and departure, and filed a lawsuit seeking 43.1 billion won in damages along with former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin.

While this measure ostensibly cites 'service maintenance,' it is interpreted as a follow-up action to erase Danielle from NewJeans' history. The industry views this as an extension of the 'Min Hee-jin erasure' and rebranding efforts that have intensified with the unveiling of the new BI.
This move is seen as an intention to quickly establish a system centered on the remaining members by proceeding with legal expulsion followed by digital disconnection. However, backlash from the fandom 'Bunnies' is anticipated, with criticisms such as "This is a cruel act that holds hostage years of conversations and memories shared with Danielle" emerging on social media.
