During the recitation mission on ENA and SBS Plus's 'I Am Solo,' Youngchul experienced a sudden finger-pinching accident and then showed a drastic emotional change, seemingly accepting his uniqueness.

While everyone else was writing poetry, Youngchul was alone in the accommodation looking for colored pencils when he got his finger caught between the refrigerator and freezer doors. Afterward, he suddenly put two fingers to his head and laughed, saying, "Ah, wait a minute, I understand my actions now. Why people called me weird."

To Sangchul, who came looking for cold medicine, Youngchul rambled, "I had no choice but to do that. It was the only way I could express myself." Later, he began to cry loudly, saying, "Ah, I understand now. I couldn't find it for 35 years," showing a moment of accepting his "weird self" that he had denied his entire life.

When Sangchul tried to comfort him, Youngchul cried, "I understand now. Why people called me weird. I wanted to prove I was normal," and sobbed. However, when Sangchul asked if it was because of the super date ticket, he suddenly stopped crying, turned serious, and pushed him away, saying, "Go away. Don't come here."

Afterward, Youngchul remained alone, appearing peaceful, saying, "I think I can go home now. I've achieved all my goals." When the production team mentioned Sangchul's comfort, he responded, "​I don't remember," seeming to have no recollection of the situation.
