Park Jin-young Kim Min-ju First Love Ratings
JTBC's new Friday series 'Shining' has premiered with viewership ratings in the 2% range. The first episode recorded a rating of 2.1%, and the second episode garnered 1.7%.
The drama depicted the first meeting between Yeon Taeseo (Park Jinyoung), who lost his parents in an accident and moved to his grandfather's house, and Mo Euna (Kim Minju), who had settled down with her father. The two grew closer while studying at the library during summer vacation and began a sweet romance, but their long-distance relationship began due to their college admissions.

Mo Euna, shocked by her father's sudden marriage announcement, heads to Seoul where Yeon Taeseo is. Yeon Taeseo rushes to Mo Euna, and Mo Euna smiles faintly as she sees the subway arriving at the platform.
'Shining' heightened immersion by portraying the story of two people who met with painful scars, using beautiful cinematography and sophisticated direction. However, the first broadcast ratings fell short of its predecessor, 'Love Me' (2.2%), leaving some disappointment.
