MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama, 'Princess of the 21st Century,' is set to premiere on the 10th, and lead actors IU and Byeon Woo-seok have spoken directly about the relationship between their characters and their on-screen chemistry. 'Princess of the 21st Century' is set in a South Korea with a constitutional monarchy and tells the romance story of Seong Hee-ju (played by IU), who has wealth but is limited by her commoner background, and Grand Prince Ian (played by Byeon Woo-seok), the king's son who lives having given up his rights.

In the drama, the two characters choose contract marriage as a means to fulfill each other's deficiencies and change their destinies.
