BTS Full Group Comeback Imminent

BTS is making a full-group comeback after approximately 3 years and 9 months, transforming the entire Seoul downtown area into a festival space. On the 21st, the 'BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG' performance will be held at Gwanghwamun Square, where the members are set to showcase a performance that maximizes Korean traditional beauty by utilizing the 'King's Road' stretching from Gyeongbokgung Palace's Geunjeongmun Gate to Gwanghwamun Gate.

With an estimated crowd of up to 260,000 people expected on the day of the performance, the police have entered an emergency system. Access to 31 building entrances near Gwanghwamun Square will be controlled, and approximately 6,500 police officers and 70 riot police units will be deployed to implement safety measures. To prepare for potential terrorist threats, metal detectors will be installed, and barricades and police buses will be positioned. Traffic on Sejong-daero, between Gwanghwamun and City Hall, will be controlled from 9 PM on the 20th to 6 AM on the 22nd.

Strict safety standards will also be applied to the press. HYBE will restrict the entry of laptops and professional filming equipment for the press in accordance with global safety guidelines, allowing only mobile phone photography from the press seating area.

BTS's new album, their fifth full-length album 'ARIRANG,' will be released at 1 PM on the 20th, with HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk serving as the executive producer. This album centers around 'Arirang,' which embodies the Korean sentiment, and draws inspiration from the earliest recording of 'Arirang' in 1896 to convey the stories intertwined with the song and Korea's unique emotions.

In conjunction with BTS's comeback, the urban project 'BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SEOUL' will take place from the 20th to April 19th. Various attractions will be offered, including media facades at Sungnyemun Gate and Namsan Seoul Tower, and a drone light show at Ttukseom Hangang Park. A 'Music Light Show' will be held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza and Banpo Bridge Moonlight Rainbow Fountain, and a 'Love Song Lounge' for fans will be set up at Yeouido Hangang Park.
