Lee Dong-hwi mourns the late Na Chul with tears

Actor Lee Dong-hwi appeared on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' and showed tears while expressing his feelings for his family and mourning a friend who passed away. Now at 42, he conveyed his desire to live for his family and mentioned his mother's health. He also expressed regret about not creating a family group chat until last year, as he is an only child.

Lee Dong-hwi said, "From now on, I want to live for more people," and shed tears as he remembered friends who had passed away. He revealed that after losing his friends, he resolved to "​try not to have such people around me."

The friend Lee Dong-hwi mentioned was the late Na Chul, who passed away on January 21, 2023, due to deteriorating health. Na Chul is remembered and mourned annually by fellow actors, including Lee Dong-hwi, Kim Go-eun, and Byun Yo-han. He was recognized for his acting skills in numerous works such as the films 'Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds', '1987: When the Day Comes', and 'Extreme Job', and particularly gained recognition in the drama 'Weak Hero Class 1'.

At the 2023 Blue Dragon Series Awards, Lee Dong-hwi mentioned the deceased in his acceptance speech, saying, "I want to share this joy with my younger brother, actor Na Chul, who must be so happy in heaven."
