25.6 Billion Won Lawsuit Battle: Min Hee-jin's Aspiration for a Settlement

Min Heejin, CEO of ADOR, has officially proposed to HYBE to settle all disputes on the condition that she forfeits the 25.6 billion won put option payment. At a press conference, Min stated, "I propose to immediately halt all ongoing civil and criminal lawsuits and end all disputes in exchange for relinquishing 25.6 billion won." This proposal includes the cessation of all lawsuits and complaints against NewJeans members, external partner companies, former ADOR employees, and the fandom.

The 'all lawsuits' proposed by Min are complex and their scale far exceeds 25.6 billion won. BELIFT LAB filed a defamation lawsuit against Min seeking 2 billion won in damages, and SOURCE MUSIC filed for 500 million won in damages.

Furthermore, ADOR is in the process of a large-scale lawsuit seeking over 43 billion won in damages against member Danielle, who experienced contract termination disputes, her family, and Min.

Lawsuits involving external partner companies and the fandom are also ongoing. ADOR won the first trial in a lawsuit seeking 1.1 billion won in damages against music video production company Dingo Studios, and BELIFT LAB filed a lawsuit seeking 100 million won in damages against NewJeans' fandom, 'Bunnies'. HYBE also sued former ADOR employees for breach of trust.

In conclusion, Min's proposal is strongly characterized as a 'big deal' aimed at settling legal risks worth tens of billions of won, not only for herself but also for NewJeans members and her associates, using the 25.6 billion won secured from the first-trial victory as leverage.
