Singer and actor Park Ji-hoon directly expressed his gratitude for the movie 'The Man Who Lived with the King' surpassing 10 million viewers. Park Ji-hoon posted a photo with the cast on his social media, along with the message, "Thank you. I love you." The photo shows him smiling brightly or in character alongside actors Yoo Hae-jin, Yoo Ji-tae, Jeon Mi-do, and Kim Min.

The movie 'The Man Who Lived with the King,' starring Park Ji-hoon, Yoo Hae-jin, and Yoo Ji-tae, has surpassed 10 million cumulative viewers. Park Ji-hoon played the role of the young former king, Danjong Yi Hong-wi, in this film. 'The Man Who Lived with the King' has become the fourth historical film to reach 10 million viewers, following 'King and the Clown,' 'Masquerade,' and 'The Admiral: Roaring Currents.' It is the first film to achieve this milestone in two years since 'The Roundup: Punishment' was released in 2024.

Park Ji-hoon's agency also shared a message with photos from the set: "The Man Who Lived with the King's Yi Hong-wi, thank you to the 10 million viewers." The released photos show Park Ji-hoon in various moments, such as holding flowers in traditional Korean attire (hanbok) or feeding a horse against a backdrop of lush nature. Scenes of him sitting on a rock on a cliff, appearing contemplative, or walking with a young child actor were also captured.

The movie 'The Man Who Lived with the King' achieved the feat of surpassing 10 million viewers in just 31 days after its release. Distributor Showbox stated, "The birth of the first 10 million viewer film of the year," and expressed gratitude, "Thank you to the 10 million citizens who willingly became friends with 'The Man Who Lived with the King'." Park Ji-hoon also shared his thanks by posting photos with the cast through his personal account.

'The Man Who Lived with the King' tells the story of village chief Eom Heung-do (played by Yoo Hae-jin), who voluntarily took on exile to revitalize the village of Cheongnyeongpo in 1457, and the young former king Danjong Yi Hong-wi (played by Park Ji-hoon), who was dethroned and exiled. This film is the first 10 million viewer film of 2026 and joined the list of 10 million viewer films approximately two years after 'The Roundup: Punishment' (2024). Yoo Hae-jin added his fifth 10 million viewer film to his filmography with this movie, while Park Ji-hoon earned the title of '10 Million Actor' with his debut feature film.
