Ha Jung-woo and Cha Jung-won Clarify Marriage Rumors

Actor Ha Jung-woo discussed the behind-the-scenes of his marriage rumors with his girlfriend, Cha Jung-won. Appearing on the YouTube channel "Hello Choi Hwa-jung," Ha Jung-woo responded to Choi Hwa-jung's congratulations by saying, "Are you congratulating me on having a girlfriend?" thus confirming their relationship. Choi Hwa-jung revealed she is a fan of Cha Jung-won, praising her as a "fashionista who dresses incredibly naturally and well."

Ha Jung-woo explained that the July marriage rumors were a misunderstanding by his father, Kim Yong-gun. He stated that when Kim Yong-gun received a congratulatory call from a reporter about the marriage, his "Thank you" response was misconstrued as agreement. Ha Jung-woo shared, "When the first article came out, I just checked with my father. He then apologized to me." He added that he and his father are not in a relationship where they can be overly doting.

Meanwhile, Ha Jung-woo attended the press conference for the new tvN Saturday-Sunday drama "How to Become a Building Owner in Korea" and shared his thoughts on the drama and his character. Regarding his return to drama, he said, "It doesn't feel real. I'm not used to the outcome being evaluated by viewership ratings," and stated he would humbly await viewer evaluations.

Ha Jung-woo connected his own experience as a building owner with his drama character, creating a sense of relatability. He confessed, "Being a building owner doesn't mean a rosy life, and I realized early on that it doesn't provide financial support. I also made some mistakes due to my limited financial knowledge, so I empathized a lot with Soo-jong." He also emphasized the drama's theme: "You should only take on what you can handle."

Appearing in public for the first time since his relationship became public, Ha Jung-woo described his girlfriend Cha Jung-won as "a friend who consistently shows affection and support," expressing his love in a straightforward manner. Regarding the recent lack of box office success for his films, he calmly stated, "I have no regrets at all.
