Monthly Boyfriend Jisoo's Acting Skills Controversy

BLACKPINK's Jisoo recently shared several photos on her Instagram with the caption "Virtual boyfriend ends ^_____^". In the photos, Jisoo showcased various concepts, including a car interior selfie, wearing a hanbok, posing next to a 119 (emergency services) vehicle, and wearing a hospital uniform.

In the car interior selfie, she created a sophisticated atmosphere by wearing a dark blue off-the-shoulder knit top that revealed her shoulder line, paired with beige-toned seats. In a photo taken in front of a traditional Korean house, she wore a hanbok with a white jeogori (upper garment) and a light purple chima (skirt), holding a bouquet of flowers and smiling brightly. Next to a red 119 vehicle, she made a playful expression while dressed in a white blouse and denim skirt. She also revealed a unique look at the hospital, wearing a pink scrub top under a white gown and a helmet.

Fans responded to Jisoo's photos with comments such as "Unnie, you're so pretty," "I enjoyed the drama," and "So beautiful." Previously, according to the British data analysis firm Hopper HQ, Jisoo ranked 40th on last year's list of the richest Instagrammers, reportedly earning approximately 636 million won per sponsored post.

Jisoo, born in 1995, appeared in the Netflix drama 'Influenza'. 'Influenza' is a romantic comedy about Mira (played by Jisoo), a webtoon PD tired of reality, who subscribes to a virtual dating simulation service and gets a new 'virtual boyfriend' every month.

Jisoo also faced acting controversy for her role in 'Influenza'. While some pointed out that her acting skills hindered immersion in the work, American magazine Time praised 'Influenza', calling it "a delightful work that well portrays a female-centric romance narrative."
