SNL Korea Season 8 New Crew Members Revealed

Coupang Play's 'SNL Korea' will begin its eighth season on the 28th, and has revealed four new crew members. The new additions to this season are Ahn Ju-mi, Lee A-ra, Jeong Chang-hwan, and Jeong Hee-su. 'SNL Korea' is a program that garnishes attention each episode with its comedic performances by star hosts and crew members. It is known as a 'star-making gateway,' having produced award-winners like Ju Hyun-young, Kim A-young, and Yoon Ga-yi in the past, and popularizing talents such as Ji Ye-eun and Kim Gyu-won.

The four new crew members each possess distinct personalities and charms. Ahn Ju-mi, born in 2002, is a former child actress who boasts solid acting skills and a striking visual. She captivated the judges during auditions with her excellent quick wit and improvisational acting. Lee A-ra, a graduate of Korea National University of Arts, is multi-talented, excelling in English rap, hip-hop, and tap dance. She is expected to bring fresh energy with her unexpected charm hidden behind a clear visual.

Jeong Chang-hwan, a graduate of the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA) Actors program, is a skilled performer who combines inventive ideas with acting prowess. He has appeared in dramas such as 'Gyeongseong Creature' Season 1 and 'Tangeum.' He is set to showcase his skills, which impressed during auditions, on the live stage. Additionally, Jeong Hee-su, who is beloved on YouTube as 'Hee-su Hyung' for his memes, hints at the creation of new characters with his attractive looks and surprising comedic acting.

These new crew members, alongside the existing core crew including Shin Dong-yup, Jeong Sang-hoon, Jeong Seong-ho, Kim Min-kyo, Ahn Young-mi, Jeong I-rang, Lee Su-ji, Kwon Hyuk-soo, Kim Won-hoon, Ji Ye-eun, and Kim Gyu-won, will be responsible for the strong humor of Season 8. Notably, Tak Jae-hoon has been confirmed as the host for the first episode of Season 8, raising anticipation for the synergy between the veteran crew and the new members. 'SNL Korea' Season 8 will premiere on Saturday, the 28th, at 8 PM.
